Listen, beloved. November can feel heavy.
The days get darker earlier. Sundowning starts before supper is over. And your own faith can feel thin by the time you sit down.
You know that moment. When the house gets restless at 6 PM. When you’ve answered the same question 40 times. When you’re tired in your bones and you wonder, Lord, do I even have faith for this?
If that’s you — this month on A Better Way of Living is for you.
What We’re Walking Through Together in November
We are posting Monday through Saturday, taking Sunday off for Sabbath, with 2 10-minute Bible Studies each week:
When Evening Gets Hard — Sundowning
Strength for Today, Faith You Can’t Do at Church
Same pain, three times, because it’s real: Evening gets hard. Faith feels weak. You have nothing left to give by nightfall.
And relief is real too: You are not alone. God is right there with you in that living room.
3 Scriptures We’re Standing On This Month
1. Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
When you’re afraid of what’s next, He holds you.
2. Psalm 34:4 (NIV) I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
When your mind is in overdrive, seek Him first. He answers.
3. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
When evening brings confusion — yours and theirs — receive His power, His love, His sound mind.
And beloved, do you have a situation that seems impossible? God specializes in the impossible. Luke 1:37 tells us that with God nothing is impossible.
I can’t solve every situation, but I can point you to the only One who can.
